Beloved Parishioners
As we enter the Holy Week, I pray God to crown your sacrifices with his special blessings.

I seize this opportunity to thank the facilitators and all those who attended the listening sessions in view of the Synod. You represented all the parishioners. Your contributions are immeasurable. God bless you.

I wish to remind you of the following:

  1. We are to return the Wee Boxes of SCIAF to the Church on Holy Thursday at the Mass of the Lord’s Supper.
  2. On Good Friday, there will be a special collection, Holy Places which is one of the Pontifical Collections.
  3. The Chrism Mass will be in St Andrew’s Cathedral in Dundee by 7pm on Wednesday of the Holy Week. Those who can make it are encouraged to join the priests as we renew our priestly commitments and vows. The Oils of Chrism, of the sick and Catechumen, are blessed in that celebration.
  4. If the weather is clement, then the blessing of the Palms on Sunday will begin in front of the priest house.
  5. Good Friday is a day of Fast and Abstinence.

Remember to maintain the prayerful decorum of the Holy Week.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
