Prayer to
Saint Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits
who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Our prayers and good wishes go with him that he and his priestly work will be blessed by the Lord.

We extend a very warm welcome to Hugh , son of Gilbert and Sophie Stevenson, who was baptised last weekend in the Church of the Holy Family. Congratulations. Well done !

Friday : Memorial of St Therese of the Child Jesus. Virgin and Doctor of the Church . Her relics were welcomed to Scotland a few years ago with great enthusiasm. It is not well known that the vehicle carrying them parked in the grounds of Our Lady’s, Auchterarder, for a few hours on the way to Dundee. She preached a gospel of simple faith and trust in God, allowing His love to wash away our imperfections . She died in Normandy in 1897 aged 24 and was canonised in 1925.
