87 years ago today, Thursday, 27th December, 1934, the Church of the Holy Family was Dedicated by the Bishop of the Diocese.  As you can imagine the story was covered in several local papers.  With a little bit of searching I have been able to uncover four articles on the British Newspaper archive which I thought may be of interest.

Articles in The Scotsman, Perthshire Advertiser, The Evening Telegraph and Dundee Courier give a description of the Church, the provenance of the building materials, the benefactors, the entourage and the guests amongst other details.

The stories are in context with other news of the day so you may have to zoom in to spot and read the articles.
